Cheese Louise! by David Michael Slater
It's the middle of the night, the floor creaks downstairs. Was that the sound of the refrigerator door opening? What really goes on in the kitchen when the lights go out?
What goes on is danger, adventure and the stuff of legends.
This is the story of Cheese Louise and her friends, Seymour, the grouchy carrot and the protective Pop Corn. But this is also the story of Kit, the most dangerous cat ever to prowl a linoleum floor.
After reading this heroic tale, written by David Michael Slater and illustrated by Steve Cowden, you'll never look into your refrigerator the same way again.
