John Thain is a Senior Lecturer in Child Care Nursing, University of Wolverhampton, specialising in teaching and training in child protection / safeguarding children. John wasfor many years chair and member of the Royal College of Nursing child protection forum and is involved in a number of national projects concerned with developing safeguarding children practice and education. John was also vice-chair of the National Safeguarding Children Association for Nurses.
