The Chronicles of Dragon by Craig Halloran

Find Nath Dragon . Obsessed with saving the Dragons, Nath abandons Brenwar in the Dwarven city of Morgdon and sets out on his own to save the Dragons. Armed with his bow Akron, and his sword, Fang, Nath is determined that he can reverse the curse of his Dragon arm once and for all. On his journey, Nath finds himself unwillingly stuck with a new companion named Ben, who's presence brings both good luck and bad. Desperate to find the Dragons he searches out an old ally in the human city of Quintuklen, a wizard named Bayzog. But Bayzog hold a dire secret about Nath's Dragon arm. Unknown to Nath, The Clerics of Barnabus have their own plans to track him down. The Cleric named Finnius, under the orders of the High Priestess, Selene, has set a trap. Using a Dragon for bait, Nath will find himself in a struggle for his life battling the ever powerful Dragon-like men called the Draykis. An abomination of part-man and part-Dragon mixed together. Meanwhile, Brenwar, sends out the dwarves to search all the world of Nalzambor to find Nath Dragon, because the loss of Nath Dragon will spark the next Dragon war. Will Brenwar find his friend in time, or will the Clerics of Barnabus capture him first and spark the next Dragon War?
