We all know how much children enjoy counting down the days to Christmas with an advent calendar, so why don't we have similar calendars for other events, such as birthdays, holidays and the arrival of a new baby? Create new traditions in your family by stitching a countdown calendar for annual events or one-off big occasions. In this book you'll find instructions for 24 countdown calendars. Ten of them are advent calendars with unique pockets: small slippers, semi-circles, Suffolk puffs and the like.
