Dean Carson is a comedian, professional storyteller, and former investigative journalist from Ireland. He performs around the world, and many of those locations filter into his thrillers. As a journalist he covered the drugs war in Limerick city in the early naughties, which cost several lives. His debut book, on that war, was a bestseller, and the most shoplifted book in Ireland. He has written extensively on true crime, and that intimate knowledge of the criminal underworld lends authenticity to his fiction.
