Toshinobu, Yasumura: - Born in Toyama Prefecture in 1953, he earned a master's degree in Japanese art history at Tohoku University. From 1979, he worked at the Itabashi Art Museum, where he was the director from 2005 to 2013. Currently he directs the Hokusai Museum. He has curated many unique exhibitions on Japanese art, particularly in the Edo period.
