Edge of Despair by Derick Bingham
My name is Hayley Grooms, I am twenty-two years old and I truly love the Lord with all my heart. It has taken me a while to understand some things that God has been trying to tell me. It is easy to put other things in our lives in the place of God, but we never realize how dangerous that actually is. This book was written when I was going through a tough time in my life. I had been consistently praying for God to reveal to me what it was that He was wanting me to do, but I just couldn't ever figure it out. I see now, that the reason I was so blinded to God's plan for me was because I had so many other things in my life that kept blurring God out of it. God cannot work in our lives if we refuse to make time in our lives for Him. It was a constant battle to get this book written, I felt like Satan put non-stop distractions in my life that I just couldn't ever get away from. The process of writing this book has not only strengthened my relationship with the Lord, but it has made me much wiser. I realize that God does have an amazing plan for my life, even if I can't see what it is yet. There is a reason that Satan was fighting me so hard, and I'm determined to find out what that is.
