Jens Muller was a Norwegian pilot who was shot down by a German Focke-Wulf Fw 190 off the Belgian coast. He was captured as soon as he paddled ashore and sent to Stalag Luft III. After the war he wrote Tre kom Tilbake about his experiences. He died in 1999. Asgeir Ueland, born in 1974, is a historian and writer. He was educated at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem and has written for a number of Norwegian newspapers and journals. His latest book on the Shetland Bus was published by Gyldendal.
