Increasingly, international commercial arbitration has come to resemble the judicial process it was intended to replace, especially in terms of speed, costs and efficiency. Arbitration institutions worldwide have adopted rules or procedures to expedite the arbitral process to address these concerns. Anderson, Alan B.: - Alan Anderson is a past president of the Canadian Ethnic Studies Association and was vice-president of the Central and East European Studies Association of Canada. He is professor emeritus in the Department of Sociology and a research fellow in Ethnic and Indigenous Studies in the Department of Political Studies, both at the University of Saskatchewan.
