More than 100 contributors showcase their unusual photographs, which make up this gallery of human-like faces in everyday objects. Faces in places began its meteoric rise to fame as an internet blog that celebrated a collection of quirky, hilarious, surprising and madcap images.
Amateur photographer Jody Smith inadvertently started Faces in Places when he spotted a common theme in his holiday snapshots, posted them on the web and soon realised that he wasn’t the only person to recognise faces in inanimate objects. A blog followed, and the Faces in Places community grew exponentially. Jody, whose day job is commissioning digital projects for a TV broadcaster, lives in London, but uses the internet as his playground.
