Juliette Wood, PhD, is Honorary Lecturer in the Department of Welsh at the University of Wales, College of Cardiff. She has taught and lectured widely on Celtic traditions and folklore and was made President of the Folklore Society in 1996. Her many publications include: Celtic Goddesses: Myths and Mythology in the Feminist Companion to Mythology: The Concept of the Goddess in the Concept of the Goddess . She is also the author of The Little Book of Celtic Wisdom and The Celts.
