Ruth Peltason is the owner of Bespoke Books, a small publishing house specializing in cultural arts publications such as Elizabeth Taylor: My Love Affair with Jewelry and Kate Spade's Occasions, Style, and Etiquette. I Am Not My Breast Cancer arose from the author's desire to combine her talents as a book editor with her own breast cancer experiences. She formerly worked for Harry N. Abrams as a senior editor and director of design and style publications. He lives in New York City and works for Abrams, Inc., Publishers.
