Mary Rodgers was a well-known writer, scriptwriter, and composer. Freaky Friday, a book she wrote, has sold over a million copies and been adapted into two films. Mary also wrote the music for the show Once Upon a Mattress and two other stories for young readers, Summer Switch and A Billion for Boris. Until her death in 2014, Mary Rodgers resided in New York City.
