Hailing from Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada, Kate Leth began publishing comics online in 2011. After building an audience on Tumblr with their autobiographical work and regular comics for now-defunct geek hub ComicsAlliance, they wrote three Adventure Time graphic novels for KaBoom! including the Marceline-centric Seeing Red, which made the New York Times bestseller list for graphic novels. In addition, they penned three volumes of Bravest Warriors, a Fraggle Rock collection and drew several covers, backup stories, and more. From there, Kate pursued comics from every angle. They’re best known for three volumes of Marvel’s Patsy Walker: AKA Hellcat, IDW’s Edward Scissorhands, original series Spell on Wheels from Dark Horse, as well as the webcomic Valley Ghouls.
