The Gap into Vision by Stephen Donaldson
This is the second volume of a five-volume story begun in the book The Gap into Conflict: The Real Story. The loathsome Angus Thermopyle is languishing in prison. The heroine, Morn Hyland, and her apparent saviour, Nick Succorso, leave the mine to pursue their own fortunes together.
Stephen Donaldson is the author of the six volumes of the Chronicles of Thomas Covenant, a landmark in modern fantasy. Every volume, beginning with Lord Foul's Bane in 1977, has been an international bestseller. Donaldson returned to the series with Runes of the Earth in 2004, followed by Fatal Revenant, and Against All Things Ending. The Last Dark, the final book in the series, will be published by Putnam in September 2013. He lives in New Mexico.
