Emma grew up in Hampshire with her parents and older sister before moving to Devon with her family in 1991. Emma left the UK in 1999 to work as a holiday representative in Greece, where she met her future husband, Jason, in the same year. Emma returned to be married in 2007 after finally hanging up her clipboard in 2005. Emma now resides in Lancashire with her three wonderful children, who have inspired her to write.
