Peg Kehret works as both a playwright and a novelist. Her comedic, heartwarming plays have been performed in all 50 states and Canada, and her children's books have received widespread praise and critical acclaim. Peg was cast as a hillbilly granny in a one-act play as a freshman in high school. She tried out for every subsequent school play since she had so much fun. She worked backstage if she wasn't cast.

Peg was bitten by the Theatrical Bug... a major deal! Peg claims she would rather write than do practically anything else, and she has forty-six middle-grade books to her credit, including four theatrical books for children.
