Kenard Pak is a Howard County, Maryland native. Before starting to illustrate picture books, he worked as a visual development artist for DreamWorks Animation, Disney Feature Animation, and Laika Studios, among others. He's also the author and illustrator of a seasonal series called Farewell Summer, Welcome Fall. Kenard, his wife, and their pets live and work in the delightful city of San Francisco.
