Lee Upton has published five collections of poetry, including UNDID IN THE COUNTRY OF UNDONE, Civilian Histories, and Approximate Darling; a story collection, The Tao of Humiliation; an essay collection, SWALLOWING THE SEA: ON WRITING & AMBITION, BOREDOM, PURITY & SECRECY; a novella, THE GUIDE TO THE FLYING ISLAND; and many collections of critical writing, most recently She is a writer-in-residence at Lafayette College and an English professor.
