Constantin Floros is the author of Alban Berg: Music as Autobiography, Music as Message (1989'), 'Brahms and Bruckner: Studies in Musical Exegesis (1980'), 'and Beethoven's Eroica and Prometheus Music (1978). He is currently chair of musicology at the University of Hamburg. Floros contributes regularly to major German and Austrian periodicals, and many of his articles on Gustav Mahler, Anton Bruckner, and Alban Berg have been translated into English and Japanese.
