Miley Cyrus was raised on a farm in Franklin, Tennessee, before making it big in Hollywood as Hannah Montan on the smash Disney Channel sitcom Hannah Montan. The sixteen-year-old triple threat has won multiple honors for her acting, singing, and dancing, including Favorite TV Actress and Best Performance in a TV Series at the Kids' Choice Awards, as well as Favorite Artist at the Teen Choice Awards (to mention a few). Breakout, her first solo album, arrived at number one on the Billboard charts and has sold over a million copies since then. Cyrus is actively involved with various causes while she is not occupied with her work duties. The first-time author was named to Time magazine's World's 100 Most Important People and The Hollywood Reporter's Women in Entertainment Power 100 lists in 2008.
