Hardy Bamboos - Taming the Dragon by Paul Whittaker

Professor Kreiger's translation of Sierpinski's earlier work on point-set topology was speedily recognized as the outstanding work on the subject in English. The present volume is not just a revision of the previous one but a translation of an entirely new book which differs vastly in arrangement, outlook, and presentation; one of its most notable features is the addition of a large number of worked and unworked examples. Professor Kreiger is Associate Professor of Mathematics at University of Toronto.

Paul Whittaker has been a nurseryman, planter, and consultant in the horticulture industry for over thirty years. He owns PW Plants, a nursery in Norfolk, England, with his wife Diana that specializes in decorative grasses and bamboos. Paul's foliage displays have won numerous RHS gold medals at Royal Horticultural Society exhibitions. He also writes for gardening periodicals, gives talks around the country, appears on local radio shows, and hosts workshops and events at his nursery and garden.
