He Said Never by Ruth Cardello

Ruth Cardello was born in a small town in northern Rhode Island, the youngest of eleven children. She lived in Boston, Paris, Orlando, and New York before returning to her home state of Rhode Island with her husband and three children. Ruth worked as an educator for twenty years, eleven of them as a kindergarten teacher, before turning her attention to writing. She is the author of seven prior books, including the New York Times and USA Today hit Bedding the Millionaire. The Lone Star Burn series begins with Taken, Not Spurred, the first novel in the series.
