He's led successful campaigns to acquire and protect urban parkland, wilderness areas, and other conservation resources, and he's given countless talks on tourism, conservation, land use planning, and historic preservation. McMahon is also the Cofounder and past President of Scenic America, a national non-profit dedicated to the preservation of America's scenic landscapes.
