High Mobility by David Doyle

A Visual History of the U.S. Army's Modern High Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicle, Part 1 By David Doyle One hundred twenty pages, soft cover, over 260 color images. The first of a multi-part series on the U.S. Army tactical vehicle that became iconic in the middle-east. This volume contains complete full-color walk-around coverage of the M1038, M1025, M1044, Avenger, M997, M1151A1, M1165A1 and the M1152A1 with B2 SECM.
Commissioned to write his first book in 2003, a 512-page volume on the history of US military vehicles, since that time over 100 of his books have been published. While most of these concern historic military hardware, including aircraft and warships, his volumes on military vehicles, meticulously researched by David and his wife Denise, remain the genre for which he is most recognized. This recognition reached its pinnacle in June 2015, when he was presented the coveted Bart Vanderveen Award by the Military Vehicle Preservation Association, given in recognition of "...the individual who has contributed the most to the historic preservation of military vehicles worldwide."
