She has specialized in behavioral care in shelters across the country for more than 10 years. She holds a master's degree in Animals and Public Policy from the Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine at Tufts University, is a certified professional dog trainer, and serves on the board of directors for the Certification Council for Professional Dog Trainers (CCPDT).
