Christine Morton-Shaw lives on a farm near Sheffield with her husband and six children. In her spare time she enjoys fishing and pub quizzes, and is fascinated by anything to do with the past. Christine takes inspiration for her writing from historical sources such as diaries. Arthur Robins is known and loved the world over for his witty and lively picture books and cartoons. He has illustrated numerous and much-loved books for Orchard, including the ever-popular Seriously Silly series, written by Laurence Anholt. Itzy-Bitzy House, which was shortlisted for the Stockport Children's Book Award in 2005. Other notable successes include Baby Christmas (Michael Lawrence) and has sold to numerous countries, and Small Knight and George (Ronda Armitage) which was a Waterstone's Book of the Month. Arthur lives in Surrey, near his two grown-up daughters.
