Marked by his American experience, which includes teaching at Harvard and Columbia Universities, he is the current dean and professor of the School of Architecture at the Central Academy of Fine Arts, and a visiting professor at Yale University. He was recognised as an Honorary Fellow of the American Institute of Architects for his contribution to architecture and he was a jury member for the Mies van der Rohe Awards.
