CRAIG LUEBBEN has been a professional guide for almost 25 years. Craig worked as a climbing guide and freelance climbing writer, producing articles for magazines such as Climbing and Rock & Ice. He is the author of Rock Climbing: Mastering Basic Techniques and other climbing works. Craig perished in a horrific ascending accident in August 2009 while climbing the mile-long Torment-Forbidden Traverse route, which connects Mount Torment and Forbidden Peak. He will be sorely missed by all who knew him as a well-respected member of the climbing community who influenced others through his writing and training.
