Chris Gore is better known for his rock climbing escapades. It is little known that he has been riding bikes since his first tricycle, starting in London and finally seeing good sense and finishing in the Lakes (there are no mountains in London). Chris enjoys both road and MTB and throws himself down rocky slopes on a regular basis. Hey, it’s faster than walking! John Coefield started climbing by bouldering on the gritstone blocks of Burbage South. Over 15 years later he has an encyclopedic knowledge of Peak District bouldering, and a similarly expansive catalogue of bouldering photography. He is the co-author of Vertebrate's Peak District Climbing guidebook, photographer of many of Vertebrate's MTB and walking guidebooks, and a long-time contributor to the British Mountaineering Council's range of climbing guidebooks.
