Letters to Eva, 1969-83 by A J P Taylor
A collection of letters from the author to Eva, his third wife whom he met in Hungary while still married to his second wife, and with whom he corresponded. The letters reflect his thoughts and values and the culture and priorities of an English radical in the latter half of the 20th century.A.J.P. Taylor was born in Lancashire in 1906 and educated at Oxford's Oriel College. He was a lecturer in international history at Oxford from 1953 until 1973, as well as a renowned broadcaster. The Battle for Mastery in Europe 1848-1918 and English History 1914-1945 are two of Taylor's many publications. In 1990, he passed away.
