Bruce Fogle was best known in London during his first 20 years as the spouse of Julia Foster, a well-known actress. He has been the proud father of writer and broadcaster Ben Fogle for the past 20 years. In the interim, he established himself as the world's best-selling practicing veterinarian, with millions of books sold in over 40 languages. Bruce is the co-founder of Hearing Dogs for Deaf People and the Chair of Humane Society International, an animal rights organization. He continues to work as a veterinarian.
