Love Your Scar by Andie Holman
Andie (Adrianna) Holman led the Complementary Therapies team at London Bridge Hospital in England from 2000-2012. Primarily involved in the Oncology (cancer) department, she initiated scar treatment for patients struggling with pain and diminished range of motion after surgery. On liberating a patient from her wheelchair after an hour of massage, the hospital Consultants asked Andie to speak to their patients before they underwent surgery to help them prepare and avoid complications from their scars.
