Emily Carding graduated from Bretton Hall University with a BSc (hons) in Theatre Arts and an MFA in Shakespeare Staging from the University of Exeter. She is an Alexandrian Wiccan initiate with over twenty-five years of experience dealing with Tarot. Emily is the author of Faery Craft (Llewellyn) and the inventor of various tarot decks, including The Transparent Tarot (Schiffer). She is also the illustrator of Avalonia Books' Gods of the Vikings. She is most known for her international tour of Brite Theatre's award-winning Richard III (a one-woman performance). Emily resides in the English town of Hastings, in the county of East Sussex.
