The Midnight Feast by Susanna Gretz

The five teddybears -- Charles, William, Robert, Sara and Louise and their dalmatian Fred, live together in a house in Bearbridge and life is full of adventures for them...One night Charles and William hear a loud noise and decide to investigate. But rather than finding anything sinister Charles catches sight of his surprise birthday cake. It looks delicious, and neither bear can resist having a teeny weeny piece. But when they hear the sound of clattering feet, they hide under the table. It is Robert, coming to check up on the cake. He also can't resist having a nibble...Then he hears the sound of someone else coming, and dives under the table, bumping into Charles and William. Soon all of the teddybears are gathered in the kitchen and laughing, they all have a birthday midnight feast together. AGE 4-8
