Jeff Clew began riding motorcycles in 1946 and competed in both road and competition events. He was a frequent contributor to Old Bike Store and on rare occasions to most other motorcycling journals when he retired in 1991 as Editorial Director of the Haynes Publishing Group. He was a founding member of one of the Vintage MCC's Sections, as well as a member of the LE Velo Club, the London Douglas MCC, and the Torbay Kickstart Club. Jeff also had some radio and television broadcasting experience.
