North Korea Deception by Richard Lyntton

From Richard Lyntton, Amazon #1 international bestselling author, comes an explosive thriller featuring British journalist, veteran tank commander, and trained killer (retired), Jack Steele. London. Moscow. Vladivostok. Pyongyang. An unimaginable nuclear disaster. Thousands of lives at stake. One man can stop it while a global conspiracy plots his assassination. Two UN officials have vanished near the volatile border region linking Russia, China, and North Korea. Few Westerners have ever ventured there. Fewer still return. What begins as an investigation soon spirals into a deadly race against time involving espionage, betrayal, and the terrifying possibility of nuclear catastrophe. As the conspiracy deepens, Steele must risk his marriage, his career, and his loyalty to Queen and country to prevent a disaster capable of reshaping the world. Some missions change history. This one could end it.
