Pilates For Dogs by Kath Walker

Who said Pilates is not for dogs? Hilariously funny, Pilates For Dogs is a dog's eye view of today's most popular fitness regime. Put this book down in front of your pooch and watch him/her perform the Leg Pull, the Can Can, the Side Kick, and Corkscrew into a Rolling Jackknife. In no time at all, you will be guaranteed a leaner, healthier, and fitter dog. Kath Walker has set out all the basic principles of Pilates and has applied and adapted them for dogs. She covers breathing, posture, spinal alignment, and twenty health-giving exercises. Even exercies on the ball are given for balance and extra flexibility (but not for chasing!).
Kath Walker is an artist and illustrator whose work has featured in numerous books, advertising campaigns, and on greetings cards, with clients including Barclays, Lufthansa, British Airways, Vodafone, and American Express. She graduated in fine art from Oxford University and uses a wide variety of media including water-colors, acrylics, and digital art creation to produce her innovative and eyecatching illustrations and caricatures. Kath lives in the North of England.
