To the newcomer PRINCE2 can represent a bewildering array of jargon. Terms like 'integrated elements', 'principles', 'themes', 'processes' and 'management and specialist products' can overwhelm course delegates or self-studiers on first exposure. Understanding what these terms mean in simple language and, even more important, how all these elements of PRINCE2 fit together, is the major hurdle that needs to be overcome if the many benefits of the method are to be unlocked.
