Steve Smallman (Author) Steve Smallman worked as a children's book illustrator for 20 years before he decided to 'have a go' at writing his own. Now, over 100 books later, he's still at it! He visits schools, libraries and festivals, and paints murals too! When he's not working, he enjoys holidays, watching TV, gardening and juggling grandchildren. Alison Edgson (Illustrator) Alison Edgson was born in County Down in Northern Ireland and now lives near Newport in Wales. When she's not illustrating children's books, Alison spends most of her free time chasing her chickens out of the vegetable garden and brushing the cat, and loves walking her dogs in the countryside.
