The Pursuit by Mike Mellor

Mike Mellor's aim in this book is twofold: Firstly that we will be convinced that the Holy Spirit is the 'Director' of all evangelism and mission, enrolling, equipping and energising those who have been found and changed by him. Secondly, that each one of us might experience the thrill of being used by the Holy Spirit in this glorious pursuit as we reach out with the gospel--whether across the street or across the globe--knowing the Spirit's power and presence that Jesus promised to those who go in his name. Mike writes, 'My prayer is that our hearts may be ignited with the holy flame which has burned intensely in the hearts of Christ-possessed men and women through the ages.' I don't suggest you read this book unless you want the Holy Spirit to move you into action. pray your way through this powerful book rather than just read it.
