Drawn into a power play over an ancient Japanese artifact, Alison and her team must find a resolution and Lily at the same time. Problem is, the Japanese don't want any outsiders involved. It doesn't help that Hollingsworth retrieval specialists are complicating matters. They want a crack at the artifact, too.

Time to kick ass and chew gum. Too bad Alison is all out of gum.

Michael Anderle (yeah, funny talking about himself in the third person) was born in Houston, Texas (1967-hopefully a long time from now). He got into a lot of trouble as a curious child. When you're grounded, what do you do with an inquisitive mind? I mostly read Science Fiction and Fantasy for the first 20 years of my life. I've been reading Urban Fantasy and Military Fiction for the past ten years.

Given this background, I've been fortunate enough to write The Kurtherian Gambit series, a popular and well-received collection of stories.
