Radio transmission, international telephone switching, computers, voice and data networking, structured cabling systems, information security, and critical information infrastructure protection have all been part of my career spanning more than 50 years. In December 2005, I spoke before the Greater London Authority's inquiry investigating the impact of the London bombings on mobile communications. Since 2005, I've been a member of the BCS Professional Certification Information Security Panel and have lectured on information risk management and business continuity at Royal Holloway University of London, where I'm also an external teacher on their open learning MSc degree.
