David Nobbs got his start as a comedy writer on David Frost's renowned satirical show That Was The Week, That Was. Later, he wrote for The Frost Report and The Two Ronnies, as well as providing material for Les Dawson, Ken Dodd, Tommy Cooper, Frankie Howerd, and Dick Emery, among others. David is best known for his two TV smash programs A Bit of a Do and The Fall and Rise of Reginald Perrin, in addition to his twenty novels. David Nobbs, who was eighty years old at the time of his death, died in 2015.
