Roman Military Equipment by M C Bishop

M C BISHOP is a military archaeologist who specializes in the Roman era. He is the creator of the Journal of Roman Military Equipment Studies and ROMEC (the Roman Military Equipment Conference). He is an archaeologist and archaeological artist by training. He is also an Honorary Lecturer at the University of Saint Andrews' School of Classics, although he is best known for coauthoring the highly respected Roman Military Equipment (Oxford, 1993, revised edition 2005) with Jonathon Coulston. He's also the author of The Hidden History of the Roman Roads of Britain (2014) and Guide to Roman Legionary Fortresses (2013), both published by Pen & Sword.
