SHELTERING DESERT by Henno Martin

After the 2008 elections, there becomes major kinks with medical insurance needs. There are not enough doctors to treat all of the U.S. citizens, so neighborhoods are drawn into disticts. Doctors become assigned to these districts to make house calls to help suppress the overflow of clientele. The doctors find a puzzling disease emerging and people have to be quarantined. The government creates a group called the Human Intervention Squad to help oversee quarantine operations. The H.I.S. target a man named Jeffrey Pike for his knowledge on the real truth about the H.I.S. and the sickness. While running Jeff runs into an old friend named Cindy. She finds herself caught up in the middle of everything but has no idea of what is truly going on. Jeff and Cindy find themselves in uncomfortable situations as they flee to uncover the truth.
