Special Issues in Child Care by Maureen O'hagan
Addresses the standards and requirements for Levels 2 and 3 of the National Occupational Standards in Child Care and Education (1991) curriculum. This book aims to provide students and practitioners with a sound knowledge and understanding of the subject, to facilitate and evaluate practice.Maureen Smith tries to live her life to the fullest. She's a hypnotherapist and newsletter publisher who's previously worked for Shanti as a recruiter and volunteer trainer, a stock broker, a financial advisor, and a meditation, English, and kindergarten teacher, where she learned a lot! She's worked as an Avon representative, an interior designer, a wife, a summer camp chef, and a drug store clerk. Her children are grown, but she is still a parent. She checks in, meditates, and hangs out. She performs Tai Chi, sings, and plays the guitar (like many self-described, self-respecting sixties' girls).
She drinks a lot of water, yet she doesn't stroll around in it. She currently resides in San Francisco.
