Courtney Sheinmel is the author of the YA novels My So-Called Family, Positively, and the Stella Batts series for young readers, as well as the upcoming Agnes & Clarabelle early chapter book series and YA novel Edgewater. Her novels have won various accolades, including the Sequoyah Award (Positively) and a National Parenting Publication Awards honorable mention (the Stella Batts series), as well as being included on recommended lists such as the New York Public Library's Things for the Adolescent and the ABC Best Books for Children.
