Although written for pharmacists, as a consumer and community nurse I found this a fascinating bookReferences to working in partnership, concordance and risk assessment are generic. However, the sections evaluating the relative merits of complimentary therapies, together with practical points about hygiene and advice on how to use over-the-counter treatments, reminded me of how often health professionals fail to provide sufficient information for patients to make the most of their medicines.
