A Tangled Web by Susan Newman

In this gripping Crime Detective novel, Detective Inspector Morecamb is tasked with the difficult and highly sensitive investigation into the death of a member of the hierarchy within the organisation. His superiors are less than cooperative and seem determined to confound his efforts, but Morecamb is determined to expose the guilty party. Could the answer lie within their ranks? How can Morecamb and his team hope to succeed when their superiors are working against them? This page-turning novel is sure to keep you guessing until the very end.

Newman, Susan: - Susan is a retired teacher of English and this is her second novel. Originally from Co. Cork she now lives in Limerick and is the mother of four grown-up children. The success of her first novel was a great impetus to complete and publish 'Betrayal', the second in the series of Inspector Morecamb stories. Both books are of the Crime fiction genre and both are set in the late 60s in rural Ireland. She has had a number of topical articles published in 'Headstuff' and devotes most of her time to writing. She also enjoys gardening and walking.
